UCEP teachers-students will get free data of banglalink

From now on, teachers and students of UCEP General School will be able to use Banglalink's free data for digital learning and new 'e-study group' model. For this, digital service provider Banglalink has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with USEP (Underprivileged Children's Education Programs) Bangladesh. According to a press release issued on Sunday, Banglalink's Chief Executive Officer Eric Oss and USEP Bangladesh's Executive Director Md. Abdul Karim signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Banglalink's Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman, Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Ankit Sureka, Head of Ethics and Compliance and AML Program Mohammad Adil Hossain, UCEP’s Finance and Compliance Director Najmun Nahar, Resource Mobilization, Knowledge Management and Communication Deputy Director of UCEP Shahriar Alam were also present on the occasion. According to the agreement, a certain number of teachers and students of UCEP Bangladesh will get one-year free data for online education activities. This data will be valid for one year from the date of launch. Banglalink CEO Eric Oss said, “Banglalink always strives to support such special empowerment initiatives. We believe that every child has an equal right to education. And one of the prerequisites for achieving this is to ensure proper school system. With this goal, UCEP Bangladesh is carrying out an exemplary program. We are delighted to be a part of this initiative as a socially-responsible organization.” UCEP Bangladesh Executive Director Md. Abdul Karim said, “In order to eliminate inequality in the field of education, UCEP Bangladesh is creating educational opportunities for disadvantaged children and adolescents. We have adopted the e-study model to ensure our students study through online classes and still continue to do so with the help of digital platforms. We would like to thank Banglalink for this initiative. I believe both our teachers and students will benefit from this."
